This picture was taken on December 22, 2014 but this was the site upon waking up also on December 23 & 24. I believe the chicken was waiting for feeding time on the front porch.  She was right in front of the front door so when you open the door this was the first thing you saw.

Christmas here in Kentucky this year was a bit gloomy – we did not have snow but plenty of clouds. Here is the picture of the good ol’ Christmas tree. If you notice right next to the door there is a basket full of lovely eggs, gifts from our chickens here at the Farm.

one more picture of the star on top. We absolutely love this tree topper. I had to search and search for a replacement when ours ‘just stopped working’ two years ago. Its always important to have something special on the tree — something to look forward to. ( big smile )

We had a wonderful and blessed Christmas this year at April Fool Farm and wish the same for your family.
