Wow have we here in Kentucky been getting some rain. Lots of rain. Now the garden is doing super and I have weeds, weeds and even more weeds to pull. Funny thing is right now I can not even step in the garden with out getting covered in mud. So it will wait. ( that is not breaking my heart, I do not like weeding the garden) LOL

I caught some really cute pictures of Ziva , her best friend ever Dutch our cat and even myself. They were in rare form and having a blast hamming it up for the camera.

This is Ziva playing with Dutch but it does look like she is going to get him doesn’t it? It was a one in a million catch. Dutch just purrs and purrs for Ziva.

These moments are what makes our world go round.♥

I know you feel like I do right now from time to time. Like you have more things to do than you have time. I am going to throw up a few quick pictures I have taken in the last week or so. I need to get off this computer and start sewing. I am knee deep into a quilt. ( big smile ) Have a Wonderful day and as always thanks for visiting our website.

These pictures are all turned sideways. ( sorry I am laughing over this) I took these pictures on a tablet and I moved them to the computer where they are right side up and than when I uploaded them to the website – sideways. So for this post we will have sideways pictures. Enjoy.

Hero our three legged goat

How Hero came to us is a small tale in itself. I was at the auction by myself for the first time. Now this was quite a feat for me, I find they talk so fast that I either try to bid to soon or to late. Yet here I was taking on the ‘fear’ of bidding at an auction alone. I stayed to almost the very end when this little guy came out. He had broken his leg while unloading at the auction house. I felt so sorry for him that I bided and of course got him. If you know goats they can go down quickly. I mean quickly. I told myself that if this goat was going to pass on I would give it a comfortable place to go not in a trailer with a lot of other goats pressing against his leg and causing him unknown pain. We set his leg and than reset it a couple of days later. Six weeks after that I checked it. He had re broke it. I started him on antibiotics and reset it. In a few days I knew he needed to go to the vet. Well the vet was good to us and amputated his leg. ( still unsure if he would survive ) He did and wonderfully.

If you are wondering why he is called Hero Every day I would go out to him and say, ” You are my Hero, keep trying “

Hero has taken to Ziva with a passion wanting her attention over mine.

When you look at these pictures you will see he still has the sticker from the auction and it has been three months. They must use some awesome glue.

Ziva has new pets

Ziva has new pets. She loves her new kittens. They just purr and purr and purr. What drives her crazy is when they play and run around. She wants to run with them and that drives the kittens crazy. It is so fun to watch them run after Ziva only to have Ziva turn around and than see the kitten jump up and down hissing at her. When Ziva takes off again than the kittens run after her again.

The kittens are sisters and we have named them Marie and Duchess.

We have a Baby Goat Palaplooza

We have baby goats right and left. I could not find a definition for the word Palaplooza but in our lives it seemed to fit. ( huge smile) We are feeding six baby goats some just over a week some only days old. Each is unique. All are loved.

I have to say I love our life. Each day is so different and just plain fun. It is like an adventure with every sunrise. Who could ever ask for more?!

This is Velma she was born March 16,2016 and wow is she cute I call her my Goth little Velma she looks like she is wearing black lipstick. So typical Velma wanting to be different.

Ziva and Fred (the baby goat)

We had some baby goats born here at the farm on March 9, 2016. I can not tell you how happy Ziva is that there are babies again. For such a young pup ( 4 months old) she absolutely loves her baby goats. She goes each time to feed them and even howls when she sees the bottles being made because it is taking to long.(in her opinion)( big smile)

Ziva and Jose

We have a small rooster named Jose. He is such a trouble maker. He loves to pick on the dogs. In this series of pictures you will see how Ziva is watching him than when she is ignoring him he is watching her. It really is fun to watch. One day Jose actually jumped up at Ziva when she was yawning and jumped right into her mouth. Ziva is such a good girl she just lets Jose be a trouble making rooster.
